Schleich 15008 Pteranodon.
The Pteranodon was one of the largest pterosaurs in the Cretaceous period.
The striking bony crest on the rear of its head provided a counterweight to its long beak. It probably didn't flap its wings very often, but instead took advantage of the wind to glide through the air - similar to an albatross.
Approx: 15 x 22 x 6cm (LWH).
Suitable for ages 3+.
Made from PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.
The Schleich figurines are exceptionally detailed, lovingly painted and allow children to play and learn at the same time.
